Civic Technology posts address how private citizens are getting and innovatively using public-sector data to make apps and other useful tools. OneBusAway is a classic Puget-Sound-area example. Done well, Civic technology improves the relationship of people with their government, provides a valuable service to the public sector, and improves the public good.
